Paradise point zero (original title: Paraiso punto cero) is a contemporary dance piece on the now critical, ecocological relation between man and nature. Created by the Peruvian dance company Integro, choreography by Oscar Naters.
For this theatrical piece I made a video decor of a slowly moving landscape, that is eternal and pure in the opening scenes, but gets strongly polluted to the point of asphixation at the end. The dance is poetic and haunting: it literally takes your breath away.
Recorded in Lima metropolitan area, Paracas and Rotterdam (2011). Premiere at Teatro Real, Lima, Peru, November 2011.
