Hope has a Face (original title: La esperanza tiene un rostro) is a film on the rehabilitation of children from poor families with burning wounds in Peru. The film was financed by the Dutch Embassy in Peru and commissioned by Aniquem, a Peruvian NGO that works in the field of rehabilitation and prevention of burning wounds. The goal of the film is to create awareness on the problems of burning wounds among the general Peruvian public. Besides the educational film, also two television spots were made.
Recorded in Lima, Peru, in August 2010. Broadcasted on national Peruvian television and distributed through health and community centers.
